Petanque (35) Petanque, also called "boules" looks like the Italian bocce, but is played with smaller, metal balls. The aim is to roll or toss the metal boules as close as possible to a little wooden aim ball. Originated in the South of France, the game is now probably the most popular lawn game in Europe and spreading all over the world.
